Sources of listings
A listing may be:
- researched and created by Kitezilla;
- submitted by a business, organiser or user;
- managed by a verified representative;
- based partly on reliable public business information;
- sponsored or promoted under a commercial agreement.
Submission criteria
Listings must be relevant to Kitesurfing or another sport covered by Kitezilla. Information should be specific, useful and verifiable. Promotional language may be shortened or removed. Submitting a listing does not guarantee publication.
Claiming a page
Kitezilla may ask for an email from the organisation’s domain, a link from an official profile, supporting documents or another reasonable form of verification. A successful claim gives permission to propose or manage designated business fields; it does not confer ownership of the page or control over independent editorial content.
Labels
Where applicable, pages or elements may be labelled:
- Information supplied by the business;
- Managed by the owner;
- Sponsored or Promoted;
- Affiliate link;
- Editorial note.
Ranking and visibility
Default results may consider relevance, location, completeness, accuracy, freshness and usefulness. Paid visibility may also affect placement, but sponsored placements should be recognisable. Payment does not guarantee a positive editorial assessment.
Corrections and disputes
Anyone may suggest a factual correction. Kitezilla may ask for evidence and may temporarily preserve the existing version while a dispute is reviewed. Editorial opinions will not be removed merely because a business disagrees, but factual errors will be corrected when adequately demonstrated.
Removal
Kitezilla may remove or restrict pages that are duplicate, closed, irrelevant, unlawful, misleading, unsafe, abusive or persistently inaccurate. A business does not have an automatic right to remove accurate, lawfully published public business information, but privacy, safety and legal requests will be assessed individually.
Reviews and ratings
Do not enable public reviews until a separate review policy, moderation process, authenticity controls and transparent ranking method are ready. If reviews are introduced later, this policy must be expanded before launch.
